Viruses crashed my computer, how can I get any of my data back?

As you say, the Virus has crashed the computer. Firstly, Congratulations the virus has taught you to back up the data.

Secondly, DO NOT download any untrusted data recovery tools, you may end up downloading the virus again.

If your computer is renewed with free assistance then ask your customer care executive what can be done.

If your computer is not under free assistance, visit your local market's data recovery centres.

If viruses crashed your software, first,  try booting on safe mode and look for lost files. If not, must try to install antivirus then try to recovery back lost data.

Depends on the virus effects and damages dealt to your system.

In general, I advise a visit to the IT department, or your system administrator, they should be notified about the problem anyways.

Please, review you organization's policy about dealing with such incidents.
