Customer churn is indicative of a problem with your brand. alternatively it could also be indicative of the intensity of competition or decline of your brand in the product life cycle. For declining products, decisions should then be made to kill them off or launch them in new markets to restart the PLC.

1. Analyze competitors and substitutes. What is their offering?

2. Conduct market research, if you have CRM tools, contact lost customers and engage them in a focu group discussion. Gather feedback.

3. If it is a product, pricing, branding, quality issue prepare a business case to justify the need for amendments to higher management.

4. Once approved implement your project and analyze for improvement.
