In brief -

ISO9001 - Ensure customers needs are met with respect to products and services within the set legal framework

ISO14001 - Ensure organizations committment to society with respect to environment - like pollution, legal framework and reducing the same, etc

OHSAS18001 - Ensures organizations committment towards employees in terms of occupational hazards and reducing the same.

Each standard has its own purpose to enhance organizations value towards being a socially responsible organization.

Management systems trying to attain the set objectives. Set relevant objectives and which ever the management system you are folowing / implementing will help you to reach the objectives.

However the trend belong to limit the objectives scope within the announced management system.

Reduce accidents, Reduce emissions, theese could be objectives of a Quality Management system. Like Hazard identification, just do not limit the scope to Environmental, include employee / stakeholders safety aspects also.
