Is it important for an accountant (or others in marketing and supply chain departments) to learn VBA? . thanks

for marketing, i do nt think so its important, but if u can learn VBS its really good to improve your skills.

It'll be a great advantage to have knowledge in VBA as you can make the task easier especially if you have an existing template that is being used. If an accounting report say takes several hours to make you can create a macro vba that can make it in just one click. it'll be effective and efficient.

I don't think so. The first priority for the accountant to master Accounting. But if you have VBA it is a merit.

No, VBA is a computer programming language. Not essential but beneficial
