1. You can make a plan in AutoCAD & import it to designing software or you can make 3D model in BIM software directly.
2. Assigning elements on assumed based structure.
3. Assigning materials property.
4. Assuming loads & pressure.
5. Assuming loads cases base on structure type, location & purpose of use.
6. Recheck & correct materials property.
7. Run the analysis if analysis is not ok, change the dimensions of members or add new members or decease the spacing between members.
8. Again run the analysis if ok then run the design model.
9. Generate report of design & reinforcement steel.
10. Where steel ratio should be grater than pmin & less than pmax
