First of all, I understood this question from different prospective than mentioned by Mr. Shahzad and Mr. PARESH.
HOW?
To answer this, I’ll give you an example:
Imagine, there is two persons raiding one Motorcycle “driver and on his back”,
While the motorcycle not yet moving “just stand by" the person setting on the back, attached “ tied “ with a chain to a big rock on the floor,
So what will happened to that person when the driver moves with motorcycle!!!
For sure he will falls down on the floor and will not move with motorcycle.
That’s exactly the affection of not developing and train our employees to match/ align, the companies / organizations expansions, growth.

Training increases an employer commitment to their job and their organization. Better understanding of jobs reduces accidents.

Those are the answers I was looking for.
Being a HR professional I had been contributed in training initiatives and within current role too and an HR person must possess and equip themselves for this role. Various form of contribution were and in current roles are;
1. Compiled Internship programs for various division which include, sourcing of candidates, their duration, mode of training, course outline and feedback sessions.
2. Based on the technical requirements of the positions, suggest the most appropriate courses and institutes.
3. Via Training Need Assessment (TNA) to highlight the core training need for performance improvement.
4. Compiling Training Calendar bases on divisions and sessions.
5. Post training feedback and recommendations for improvements.
6. Conducting Orientation sessions for new joining and other briefings.
7. Above all, the training guys must also participates in training sessions.
The above contributions could only be done on the basis of thorough HR concepts, understanding the organization and people dynamics and ability to present the solution in business language.
I participate In the development of the organization where I follow trainer guideline and share experience and input it to the organizational activities.
First of all, I would like to congratulate you for this realistic and deep question because its really very good question.
Now my answer is: Staff as human Asset is not lest important than Company capital. Companies invest in human capital for improving performance, quality of work, reduce expenses, stay strong, etc. So, organization development can basically be achieved through staff training.
Participating in the Organization development can be in the form of recommending practical staff training after rationally deciding : who needs which training and when, what is the expected value from training, how far training can share in and boost Organization development efforts, in what way can we measure contribution of staff training to Organization development. This way Organization can benefit from staff training which is mainly intended for Org. Development.
If I understood properly this question I must answer that I directly participate in the development in my CPU through staff training.
The direct influence and contact with the training staff is essential to learn how is the real state and how to take the exact methods to reach your goals.
We are using very simple approaches because in the simplicity lay the beauty!
Why do we have to find everytimes the America? I thought that Columbus found IT.
It is better to take step by step and load the preasure onto their sholders in the simplicity way than radically change everything and get collapced system.
The training and your participation cant stop and has to be under way through the whole business process.
I like the direct and personal participation, involvment and creativity to the imminent situation and want to give the chance that the subordinates could find the way out of it alone.
To give them the chance to think that they find it. The next time they will be much more creative and dont come with the problems but with solution and this is it!
