How do you motivate those employees, in giving out their best, who don't want to work for incentives?

To bring out the best from any employee, there is always a treat of incentive being thrown by operations. There are many employees who will work to justify the salary. One of the greatest methods of people management is to get those employees motivated enough to give out the best.

usually I motivate employees by connecting their work to a larger purpose, recognizing their strengths, and creating an environment where they feel valued and heard. I focus on fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration, offering encouragement, and celebrating small wins to inspire them to give their best, beyond just incentives.

To motivate employees who aren’t driven by incentives, focus on intrinsic motivators like recognition, purpose, and personal growth. Connect their work to a larger mission or impact to give it meaning. Recognize and appreciate their contributions publicly or privately. Provide opportunities for skill development, challenging projects, or leadership roles to help them feel valued and engaged. Foster a supportive and positive work environment where they feel respected and empowered. Regularly communicate with them to understand their needs and align their roles with their strengths and passions.

Salary is considered one of the most prominent incentives that contribute to motivating the worker, but this can be remedied by allocating a grant allocated to the efficient worker and offering that grant to the most productive worker, and thus all the work is stimulated.
