A MS server used as WWW server. Is it okay to activate the hyper-V inside it for a different application, will it affect the server performance?

I don't want to compromise the server's performance as it is widely use by the company. If so then I will not push the plan.

It would be better to use a hypervisor like proxmox or VMware esxi or even docker rather that using Microsoft server directly
