Robots can augument my job by carrying out repetative jobs and with analytics, reports etc. I can make use of Robots for such jobs and i can concentrate more, use my thinking skills, team leadership etc very effectively to upsurge the overall performance
Almost 50% of business leaders say that automation could lead to a reduction of their workforce by 2022. Within the next decade or two, jobs like retail workers, cooks and servers, even janitors and housekeepers could see millions of jobs replaced with automation. So what does it truly take to “robot-proof” your job? When it comes down to it, the soft skills of a human being can’t exactly be automated. Humanity will only become more valuable, in fact, as automation grows and artificial intelligence tech begins taking on more professional roles. The emotional intelligence, leadership charisma, and creativity of the thinking human brain are what make us (and our careers) indispensable. It’s no wonder that customer-service roles, planning and creative work, and management are among the positions with the lowest automation potential.
Beyond doubt the introduction of the various sophisticated technology in our daily life works , jobs and business reflect adversely to the number of workers that employed in all sectors. i.e will reduce the number of jobs and employees as machines replace them.
However , the same technology era open new work's area for the employees and workers replcing the coventional one. Hence to cope with the evolving change , the manpower should learn and train to this new system and find new opportunties for works and gear up with such circumstances.
So , refering to your point in the raised question , in my opinion there is no loss but seems equal and fair equation .
My very best wishes .
I think because robots are man-made, they always need human management and their creativity is human-made, so a robot without a human mind and human command is meaningless.
It's a fact, not to mention that it happens right now. A lot of leading companies automate their working processes thus, they don't need to hold so many employees. Actually, AI can do particularly any work. Another question is how we all should deal with it. The consumer format of our society just leads to a labor crisis. We need to build a creative society, and only in this scenario, we can use AI for the benefit of humanity. The "Creative Society" project is already in progress (you can google it), a lot of people around the world have joined it already, so everything depends on our choice.
What a lot of people, including professionals fail to realize is this: A.I. and robots CANNOT innovate and create something NEW. A machine learning algorithm will give you an output based on the input that it has been fed during its training. But it can never create ORIGINAL concepts or ideas.
Industries where automation is a major requirement will be seeing changes. Menial labor will be hit. But along with the rise of automation and technology, new employment opportunities are being created as well. SEO experts for instance, came into being as a result of helping people navigate A.I algorithms in search engines more efficiently. So did social media executives. These positions do not require any specific technical qualifications as such. So, the idea that automation/robots will lead to job scarcity can be challenged because even if they consume some conventional opportunities, they will inevitably create ones. The world is changing and with, people are adopting accordingly.
As we are on the technology based world, currently most machines and other technologies replace some humans work ideally as it becomes increasingly play a role in todays companies. Surely it will affects almost jobs but not all. First factor to consider is the cost of automation software and hardware that needed. Humans are a great multi tasker and such certain works that cannot be replace by robots, one example is the work of a childcare as new born and infant babies need human interaction, love and care.
In my view, in any industry customer satisfaction is the KEY for success. And automation driving us towards this process to give the best possible solution with in the stipulated time.
As a HARD WORKING employee, we need to consider this as helping aide to achieve our goals.
Partially yes,
In developing countries it will take ages to get that through, I guess it will take place firstly in Army, and it's gonna succeed radically.
A creative person cannot be replaced by a robot (can only become his assistant or tool); It is easy to replace a service person with a robot.
