What is a good way to improve customer relation from an adverse situation (context: digital transformation in heavy industries/manufacturing)?

A basic human characteristic is to be lazy but change is the only constant to be better and remain relevant in the marketplace. The same holds true for a customer/company/organization big or small. I want to understand what can be a good approach to provide customer with data driven eye-opening thoughts that will help them improve their process and realise benefits in the longer run, rather than looking at a short term investment on technologies.

There are many good ways of delivering great service but you start from the basics: Smile, Warm Welcome, Use customer name, Be helpful & Honest. The services and products you are offering should be according to customer needs and wants and not in accordance to your willingness, you should find out what would be perfect for them. You should make him/her feel that they are very important and special customers for your company. Everybody likes attention, even one message is enough to make somebody feel better.
