There is nothing more motivating than showing the organization employees that their ideas are valued and considered.
Therefore, I believe that the best way to encourage creative thinking within any organization is to take any suggestion seriously as no idea is a bad idea and execute a certain idea that any employee might come forward with after studying its risks, advantages, and disadvantages by the upper management.
Creating thinking is great tool for any organization to grow better. Most of the organization it gets suppressed mostly by top management . The Best way is to provide open forum and motivation for all staff in the Organization . Mostly creative thinking and Lateral Thinking evolve mostly in higher levels in younger staff who want to voice it but it get rubbished. So best way is to motivate any staff who has creative thinking and some incentive should be given for contributing and additional incentive to be given if their strategy is implemented those people should be appreciates by the board in front of others staff . This process facilitates more contribution and involvement in the Employees to contribute to Organization growth and Success it will make the Organization reach great peak interms performance and growth improves . This process increases employee accountability and Organization will gain better market image inturn better productivity.
The crux what ever incentive committed for offering creative thinking should be given immediately without any delay . There by flow of creative thought will increase manifolds . The people who asses the strategy must be open minded person otherwise the whole exercise will go futile. Even toilet cleaner can offer better critical thinking as well ( To that extent mind has to be open for Creative Thinking ). My humble suggestion which i have implemented turned the organization to achieve 100% growth in two years in Africa.
