As per a recent survey, it is estimated that 20% of the urban population prefers to shop their daily grocery needs online. That lives an 80 percent market that still not regularly use online grocery shopping platforms.

I think you might have guessed my viewpoint based on the above facts. You should definitely go for a grocery delivery app development as the need for it is only going to increase considering the Covid-19 Pandemic, more smartphone usage, more urban migration, etc.

Before developing an online grocery app it is important to set up a system that could deliver customer satisfaction on a regular basis by considering the below questions

· How will you deliver fresh groceries to the customer?

· What will be your return policy?

· How will you differentiate yourself from your competitor?

· How will you arrange the fresh grocery inventory supply on a daily basis?

· Will you have your own delivery chain or on a contract basis

· What will be your service location (Define Exact Radius)

Deciding on the above parameters will help you in deciding the factors on which you will measure customer satisfaction and fulfill any gap if it does exist.

It is also important to consider the development cost involved in building an online grocery delivery app.

P.S. It is also a good idea to cover the semi-urban market for online grocery delivery as no online grocery delivery players are yet to take their advantage fully.
