How to access the router’s web interface?

Which router are we talking about, is it a home router? if so:

- you need to find your routers' IP address; to do so check your machine network configuration, most likely the default gateway IP is your router IP address.

- Open a web browser and type in the default gateway IP there, and hit enter.

- you should be redirected to your routers' login page.

Step 1: Launch a web browser and enter “192.168.1.1” in the Address bar then press [Enter].  If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your router's IP address.

 

Step 2: Enter your login credentials in the fields provided.  The default password is admin.  If you changed or personalized your password, use that instead. NOTE:  You will need to reset your router in case you forgot your password.
