I did similar tasks in my previous job, the most important thing to approach this goal is align with company goal of cost efficient and align with COO/CFO/CHRO as they benefit from such kind of OpEx directly. And you can build best practice in these depts, such like reduce call center operators, automize finance reporting by RPA, upgrade HR CV search by LLM+RPA etc. And then with the attraction from the board, formalize an internal AI consulting team with domain knowledge across company business process. With this team you can run process review with all business domain leader and start to digging more AI scenarios. All in all, the progress is a 1-3year journey and need to walk step by step.
