What is the role of 3D Studio Max in Graphic Designing field?

In my point of view, 3D graphics are the part of Graphic Designing now a days.
Graphic designer must have the knowledge of any 3d software i.e.
3D Studio Max.
If we design a logo or Branding we can show them in 3D or If we have made package designs then we can view them in 3D that how they look? In product, we need to render the product in 3D etc....

Hi, 3D Max Studio doesn't have much to with graphic design.
It is a huge impact in interior design though.
No matter how 3D you want to go in your design, you adobe tools can easily do the job for your.
I learned 3 MAX but i never had to use it for i wasted my time and money.
This was my experience because i mostly work for print.
if the designer is working in animation of any sort, well it makes a difference.
they would definitely need to learn and master 3D programs to stand out in the crowd.

Example: Water bottle company their requirement is Logos and Label designing from the designer and30 -40% of clients will satify by2D graphics (Photoshop). But other60 -70% of Clients require the final output i.e., a3D view of their product with the2D label and logo on it.
