Sometimes you have tough manager and you failed to build good relationship with him to have more comfortable area and less formalities of work.how you can deal with him and what are the main advise to be success in your work with him.
Managers, like everyone else, need to succeed. Even the toughest one.
I suggest that you need to understand your manager's understanding of the organization's success factors and his/her approach to achieve those and support him/her. I beleive that his will ensure your manager's support and encouragment.
I feel there is no human being who dont have friends and family so I feel there is a deep study which has to be done on this person , observe him carefully and then understand what he likes and what he dislikes our MD is one of the toughest person to handle but then we found when we talk to him in local language he is more friendly and open. So a person who failes to make a good rapport with boss should do this.
If you are perfomer I dont think he should have any issues as well if he doesnt have any personal rapport with you because you have excelled in work provided that way his perspective will change and he will appreciate soon.
There are different kind of managers in the management. every manager targeting to acheive a good business in your company. I beleave that strict attitude manager is a better than others. because he is not worried about his carrier but rather the carrier of those who work for him. so that , manager taking strict action against employee . if we can work under the Stress management ,it means your carrier has been success full. so, you can work any where in the world and do your best for your company and take a positive attitude to build up a good relation ship with him for win.

Determine the relationship in the scope of work and take care to carry out the tasks entrusted to me by the manager to the fullest to build a wall of confidence so that I can build a more cooperative relationship with him
Document and list down the difficulties in a non provoking manner such as to emphasize on a solution rather than just a complaining. Then explain in a calm manner of how the issue could be solved using a win-win strategy.
Talk with low voice, every one will come down, and tell , the truth of the matter, and try to convince.
Probably, patience is the most important in such situation. You should also pay attention to yourself and assess whether you give any reason to be so tough, and develop and work better.
Try to understand him, put yourself into his shoes.
If the situation becomes too intolerable and helpless, it is better to leave.
Managers likes to be engaged by their employees activity and responsibility towards the work if your manager is hard you could make him happy by managing him or her without making them realizing that you are doing it , and rather than thinking that your boss as your boss ... think them as a difficult client ...
