How do people learn best?

The most important thing is:  motivation. Indeed, learning depends on Motivation.

People learn in different ways:

1. Listening learners

2. Seeing learners

3. Touch / experience learners

Usually, people combine the styles of learning.

usually like a little child who just learn to walk " trial and error",

the the wiser approach is to learn from somebody else's mistake,

and the best is to have an idol or mentor that you follow and learn from him who has much more experience and success than you are.

The situations for ideal learning are varied depending on so many variables.It is important to provide a calm environment to some and to others they need to be engaged actively.The list is endless.

So, to learn new things there should be interest, concentration and hard labor. 

Learning Depends on Motivation, Learning is Personal If we understand that learning is an active process of making sense of new information within the context of our own understanding and experience, then learning – by its very nature – is personal and individual. It matters who we are and what we bring with us in to the classroom. Add to that the power of interest in motivating the desire to learn and it becomes clear that education can’t rely on one-size-fits-all learning opportunities—our life experiences, personalities, talents and interests are far too diverse. Humans learn best when we recognize the individual, address the whole child and promote self-directed learning opportunities. 

You're never too old to learn. In fact, adult learners are generally the best learners around. Why? Because adults are highly motivated, very curious, and know how to apply their practical life experiences to new information.

Maybe it's been a long time since you've been in a classroom, or perhaps you're thinking about a self-study program. Whatever your choice is, you want to make sure that you know how to learn fast, efficiently, and to the best of your ability.

Your learning style is unique. Each individual has his/her own way of thinking, feeling, perceiving and understanding. Therefore, no one can say what learning strategies will be best for you - it's something you have to discover for yourself.
