The questions is a bit strange because usually in a company we want to decrease the collisions by increasing the collision domains , for example : If you have two cars that are moving in opposite directions on a road that is open ( one collision domain) , there is a huge chance that these cars can have an accident and kill each other , but in case there is a huge Wall or a separation on the middle of the road to separate the traffic in the two directions ( two collision domain), this will reduce the availability of having a collision between these two cars .
you cannot avoid having collision domains inside you network , because the minimum number of collision domains is one usually on HUB and the maximum number is infinite , since each port on a switch can be a collision domain and this is by the way one of the reasons why switches are higher in prices that a hub or a bridge .
They reduce the possiblilty of having collision and increase the efficiency of a network
