When answering a question what is more important? reading the question or understanding and analyzing?how do you do it?

reading the question or understanding and analyzing

for me,when i read a question i want to understanding and analyzing then after that i'll answer.

read+understand+analyse=answer

Of course read it understand it and analyzed it and then you'll come up with a nice and better answer. 

all of them is important

I think i do everything what you have mentioned and then I reply , I am sorry to say but i have seen some answers which is not even relevant to questions and after few hours or days that answer is voted up with maximum votes , so I request not just answering here is important also giving values votes

Reading the question is part of understanding it to answer it well

Not all the questions need analysis 

I read the question2 or3 times to understand it right then I write what comes to my mind then I modify my answer to make sense to me .. I analyze the question if it needs a specialized opinion because I should answer it right ..if I know the answer I check again to make sure that the information right. And I think about some questions of course.

Of course it is important is to understand the question ... is intended to be the answer understand and grasp the meaning of the question
