We want re-think how we can change HR work in order to avoid long process/procedures.
Only technology change can make it possible.
Avoid questions of ancient and long and replace them with questions, useful and minority summarized and revised the Internet or through labor.
Redefine your stance and who HR is to the company. Rethink the strategies of what you wish to accomplish, and what is important to the organization. And I would agree that there are HRIS programs and software that can help improve HR functions within the organization.
HR has to be aligned to business goals and objectives. Keep your organizations business objectives in mind and do an HR Audit and understand if current talent, processes and Hr initiatives are good enough or you have rationalize talent, hire new talent, apply changes with HR process or automation is required to support expansion. One needs to understand that HR is not a stanalone function, it has to be a part of business.
I believe that Human Resources can be truly re-invented if all departments realize that they are equally responsible and also contribute to the Human Resources Function.
Once that happens, processes that may take time will have quicker and effective solutions due to the continous and combined effort of the Comapny with the Hr Departments.
I also agree with Zafar - Technology and other innovative changes do help re-invent Hr.
