Credit risk means failure of the client to repay as per agreed terms. To asses credit risk the following factors needs consideration:
The client ie the management . Is there management continiuity plan
Business: How is the business of the client doing. it is slowing down or flourishing?
How are cashflows of the client, profitability , debt burden etc
Whether the loan is secured or clean
Repayment track and market reputation of the client.
These are some indicators but the list is very large
