Historically, building management systems (BMS) controlled only the building environmental controls or heating, ventilation and air conditioning system on an analogue network. In recent years there has been a shift towards providing digital solutions, and as such the BMS market has started moving into Internet Protocol (IP) based solutions. The advantage of this approach has been the ability to interface with other building systems such as CCTV and access control. Gartner, a market research company, has predicted by201570% of BMS systems will be delivered over IP.
Your challengesThe intelligent building will play a more dominant role in building design in the future. The problem at the moment is that mechanical and electrical consultants follow a very traditional delivery model, often designing solutions that are risk averse, with a proven track record. The result is often an approach where building systems and technology systems are delivered as individual packages with very little thought put into what could be achieved by integrating elements. Turner & Townsend considers and delivers the potential future cost savings and flexibility a client would expect from a new flagship building. What we do
What you get
no h haven't
no we haven't but I know about BMS benifits and i was dealing before with EIB protocol which used In BMS which give you complet control and obsirve all equepments in the biulding like lights and elevators shiller's heaters air ducts camera's .....et's and it's very useful
My job exposure & expertise was in power plants and Industries in downstream oil and gas, dessalination, and substations engaged in construction, maintenance and operations. Honestly, I have not yet handled BMS projects for building and infrastructures. I only had some project experience in communications and FA systems applied for Petrochemical plants and Refineries in installation, maintenance and construction. Anyway, thanks for your request.
