Successful Manager :

Should be good mentor, good leader.

Should posses excellent Communication and negotiation skills.

Should be maintaining the fair and transperent  policy with all team members.

2. Resource Management

3. Budgeting & Cost Controlling

4. People Management

5. Influencing the stakeholders

I guess most of the projects can be managed with these skills, sure you can add some more!
