Japanese5S - Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke An equivalent set of5S words in English have been adopted. They are Sort, Set (in place), Shine, Standardize and Sustain. The Japanese5S can also be known as house keeping.
I have always adopted the japanese5S philosophy in Retail Sales and i have to say , it reflects high quality to the overall display of retail shops, boosts performance and efficiency of employees, and most importantly it reflects a culture that emphasizes on team building and standardized application of simple business processes to reduce errors and complications .
