If you are a job seeker you should focus the personal qualities, if you are an enterpreneuir the you sould focus business qualities.
Personal qualities are important as well as business qualities and both have to be reflected on the CV.
You will only know if a person is really able to work if you give him/her the opportunity to work and develop himself/herself in his/her career =)
Personal qualities are more important than business qualities. Any person who have personal qualities he/she easily capable to built his/her business qualities and thus he/she is really capable to work.
its related to each other , every factor effect on the other directly , but i believe that the personal qualities is more important cause if its exist it build the business quality but business quality cant build personal quality
Personal qualities might be more important for the person and business qualities is more important for the buisness.
A person will be able to deliver if the hiring process ensured that the right person is selected for the job. This should involve ensuring common qualities for the person and the busienss.
I purely believe if someone doesnt posses personal qualities it cant be transformed into business quality. Thats is the reason when we hire someone we check the background of the person if she /he can be suitable to work or perform in the position awarded. If someone posses personal qualities its reflected and its very easy to adapt to business qualities as well.
This depends on the environment where we stands eihter its personal(family or friends) or professional environment i.e. work place. We need to utilze the set skills as per the situation, likewise it is said that at work place we must control our emotions and much focus on technical side and soft side but at our home and friends we are much on one-to-one skills, emotions are more strong their.
Business qualities or business tools & Facilities are important for the employee to manage his work easily .. but personal qualities makes u able to work at any place cause always u have a sensor inside u lead you to the correct action and behavioir .. if you don't have any personal expierinces or qualities and just depend on the business facilities & tools then when u re-locate or get another job in another place don't have same options u will get stuck !
Finding your strengths and weaknesses is part and parcel of developing yourself. With a better understanding of your abilities, expressing your life purpose using skills that you're good at becomes easier.
As you start to uncover your strengths and weaknesses, you'll also start to understand what you can naturally do to express the creation of your purpose. You don't see an elephant trying to fly, do you? Or an eagle trying to swim? They do what comes to them naturally, because that's who they are. They are just "being".
So How Do We Define What A Strength Is?
A strength consists of4 components:
1. Your natural talent & abilities
2. The education you had
3. Your experiences in life, either working or otherwise
4. Your skills
Natural talent and abilities are something that you tend to do so naturally you don't realize that you're good at it. It happens to everybody all the time. When you're able to do something so well so naturally that when someone else who tries to do the same screws things up, you don't "understand" why other people just can't do something so simple!
Your education helps to build your strength, because it gives you additional background and knowledge that others might not have. With proper and deliberate practice, you can build a competency based on your education simply because everyone else doesn't know what you know!
Your experiences in life contribute in the building and development of your strengths. Experiences give you a real life participation to understand the actual events and requirements to make something happen. It's easy to say "build an internet business", but it's another thing to actually do it. The detailed work and implementation involved comes with experience.
Skills are something that we aren't born with. Skills are abilities that you hone and polish over time, continually and deliberately refining your ability to execute till you do it unconsciously with a high degree of competency. Like Tiger Woods, who practices almost from morning to night to hone his skills in golf, or Michael Jordan who would spend time building and developing his basic basketball skills to high degrees of competency.
When you are able to combine these4 components together, that's where you get your strengths.
Here is an exercise you can use to find your Strengths.
Exercise: Finding Your Strengths
On a daily basis, take a piece of paper and write down what you think your top10 -15 strengths are. Just take note of what you do naturally, and what you enjoy doing. During the process, you'll experience several "aha!" moments about what your strengths are, and you'll find that you tend to write certain things over and over again, indicating to you that you already "know" your strengths, just that you weren't consciously aware of them.
After2 -3 weeks, compile your notes and look for the items that keep coming up over and over again. These are very likely what you think your strengths are.
A) Both are important in their way ...
To Identify what are the required Qualities in both of them is much important than they themselves.
Back in university we studied "Organizational Behavior" course starting from:1- individual qualities (personality, values, motivations),2-moved to Groups qualities (team work, communication, & leadership modules),3-up to organizational structure & dynamics which have to control/affect individuals & groups behavior for the best of the organization.
Now in real life … we start from our Business goals & our organizational structure & dynamics to identify the needed qualities in our Individuals & teams.
*anyone –especially in decision making roles- should have an "Organizational Behavior" book in their offices.
B) An individual ability to work can only be understood by matching/testing his/her own abilities against those abilities required in Job.
(Matching/testing by interview question, written tests …etc.).
Identifying the required abilities -mental, social, sentimental, etc.- for the job is what matters first.
Find out his attitude and experience in related jobs. If you not satisfied his answer, give some case study about the relevant job and get answer. If his answer is satisfied your question. He may be suitable your requirment.
