It is a blend of both to attain maturity as a Professional Salesman Instinctive i.e; you have to feel the pulse of customer,you have to just press the buzzer when you know the answer don't jump the signal,focus on the customer identify his needs and present to him with the solution or product, at apprpriate time during a sales call.Judgement i.e;Having fair knowledge of customer,market product and competition and able to judge and take right decision while making a whole sales process.
