Can we take the risk of migrating Enterprise Application to Public Cloud - IaaS model?

never do that

migration to any new environment is never considered safe

but instead extend it to cloud as mirror for loadbalancing redundancy

and check with the failover simulations

all applications would not even behave similar with smilar hardware and or platform

so behavior and for the sake of safty and the sequirty keep most of the major masters at local sites and rest extended

Tell me why we cannot even consider few Enterprise Applications to cloud?

Do you believe Security is the only reason?

We can always extend MPLS network to Cloud DC and make everything Secure?
