Putting in mind that your company economic and political status are not stable and it might take years to reach a moderate state of stability.
Working in international job market is always a previliage.
Definitely in international market which has more exposure
working in one's own country in a local or a multinational company has it vast advantages.
the only advantage we get by going abroad is higher income.but we loose a lot in terms of being away from our loved one's,we build someone else's country instead of building our own.and contribute to the success of the other country over your own.
for example indians who stayed and worked in india have brought india's company's and factories to become world known and contributed to the success of india,....etc.india now is a major export country with promising future,i have great admiration and respect for every indian who stayed and worked hard for his country.they could have been paid more but decided their country needs them and i believe that is success, its not money its contributing to the success of your own community and country.
but if you weigh the advantages and dissadvantages working in your own country is much better ,it is more secure, you build your success and reputation in your own country, you serve your company and country.you add value to your country.
Yes, working for a company in own country has several advantages.
But, do have limitation in terms of how much wealth you can make out of your earnings, if you are in a low cost country zone.
Even if you earn handsome salaries, it is quite difficult save money with higher inflation and high living cost. Added to this, we payout a huge taxes.
I agree, working in foriegn country has several challenges. But, if you can join a company whether it is local or foriegn in that country, which has established itself in their market and provides good working culture, it makes sense to work for such companies which can offer good income.
It should be depending from person to person if working in multinational is not beneficiary then people choose to leave their countries if there is some gain out of this decision.
If same amount of growth is expected with in country then a person will stick to same country.
So, its totally motive driven decision.
Both are fine, depens on the working environment. if the environemnt all is good.
I will choose the one which assist me achieving my goals.
Any ways you get a global exposure which would add to your gainful experience.
· While working in a multinational you get to meet people all over the world. If not in person always at least via chats and emails and Phone calls. There are VIOP (voice over internet protocol) group meetings where people in the organization all over the globe would met at a certain time.
· Working in a foreign country would be more challenging as you would have to adapt yourself to the local culture and learn the local language. But succeeding there would give you real global exposure and make you a global player. In the BPO, IT, ITES industry in India if you have worked abroad you can directly get promoted from executive to senior manager.
in local foreign local company
