I agree with Mr.Manu it is a cheapest way of promoting business with wider clientele and immediate response however it may not give you a reliable or consistent customer.

From the company's point of view, internet on the move on mobiles is to provide an additional channel to market to the customers. An additional channel means more work for the company.

A channel like Mobile is considered to be one of the best mediums to target and market to your customer in the future.

At the same time, an additional channel also means more opportunities to bring in revenue. So when you weigh the pros and cons, I personally believe that the additional amount of work will more than compensate by bringing in better returns.
