Dear All,
With all respect to every opinion was expressed by our colleagues in this fruitful discussion, I have to say: THANKS for you, and step forward in your future. However, I hope if I have the opportunity to involve my opinion in this matter:
First of all, Love, Hate, Respect, Liking, Jealousy, Anger, Admiration…etc, all are simply descriptive words to our behavioral actions that we do towards each other. Those actions are definitely a mirror reflection to our character, our ethical values and what we acquired through our life journey.
Some will say: What you are talking about? How could our feelings a reflection to our ethical value?? Our life as a whole is a gradual accumulation to what we feel, see, acquire, hear, learn, know from the surrounding and what we innovate by ourselves.
So, if we live a comfort life without any problem or annoying news (which is frankly impossible in our complex life), definitely our behavior will be optimistic and we can easily deal with the surrounding with all love, respect and admiration.
But, coming back to our real life, where life complexity crosses match with our essential tasks and commitments, as well as with much life pressure on our actions and behaviors, being annoyed and easily angered will be your marked signs of your character between your colleagues.
From here, we have to carefully reconsider our behavior and actions at work, at home, in the street …etc., anytime and anywhere. Controlling our life and how we can deal our life issues will open the gates to the Second issue in this discussion: what can we acquire from our actions and those behaviors??
In my opinion, from several thoughts that are storming in my mind, I think gaining Respect is the main value we need in our life; disrespectfulness is the main cause of our fighting, cheating, dishonored completion, useless arguments and vigorous jealousy. Sometimes, we pay little attention to odd action like being impolite towards our partner, and paying attention to useless topics.
We cannot gain anything with tough behaviors…
We will not build our life based on arguments and thoughts fighting…
We simply cannot live without being familiar; i.e., making connections, or even accepting the surroundings…
In other words, we cannot achieve and acquire love and admiration of our colleagues, boss at work, family members, and the people we know or we will acquaint, without feeling respect and good behavior towards ourselves in the first place and others in the second place.
Good Luck,
Lubna Al-Sharif
Respect is the most important and this will lead to love.
