If you have just been hired,you find out that your new colleagues want you to leave and be replaced by someone of their choice,they refuse to cooperate, what do you do?

you have deadlines to meet,work to be performed,your were hired by senior management to bring change and profits,your coleaqgues are doing everything to make your life difficult.what can you do?if you go back to senior management you know they will consider it a sign of weakness. what will you do.leave or fight?what do you think?

First I will give my100%.I will work7 days a week. I will work for morethan9 hours a day. Volenteer to do some of the work of my co workers who may be neutral. Work silently. Do not react to any provocation. Treat everyone with dignity. Leave the rest to God .

- Discuss the issue with the senior management (who hired me and presumably knew what's inovlved) and seek their advice and support.

- I will do my best to understand the root cause behind my collegues position and act accordingly to achieve my employer's goals.

Good question . Being a change Agent and responsible for raising profit demand a very close cooperation with EVERYBODY in the company . In this case , step by step I would do these : 

1. Organize a very big meeting with directors /managers of all divisions 

2. Present them myself with sincerity , my experiences , my knowledge Level , my personality ...

3. Make a presentation of the last year of the company and the actual situation 

4. Explain in detail the reason of my presence in this role 

5. Present the new targets to Achieve 

6. Explain how I appreciate their contributions to the company until that day 

7. For the company's sake ask with clarity and sincerity their collaboration 

8. Explain my department's role while working with them and ask their opinions and advises. 

9. Never remark the managements support , this will be considered as a threat.

10. Be open , clear , goodlooking and communicative . 

 

This is the proactive way to make a Good beginning together. Openness and sincerity make things easier .  If these steps do not work , then you are in the wrong company with bad intentioned workers.  Leave .
