Stack Rankings work this way – A Manager is asked to rate his employees’ performance using a given series of rankings/grades along with proper instructions (laid at organization level) as to who all fall into a certain rank. The supportive fact here is to remove the weakest people in a chain or get it replaced so the chain remains strong and stable. In stack ranking if you have your data green. (That is you are performing week on week on time ) you are at the top of the stack bell shaped curve. If you know the data matrix and data speaks more than words then stack ranking is a good system that only values performance and nothing else.
