I was hired by a woman who was on her way out. She asked me to be her “fall guy” on a number of assignments. I just learned to drop the assignments off with my boss on the day that they were due, and when the managers would ring me up, I would recommend that they simply follow up with her. This kept me out of hot water with my boss and with her superiors.
04Oct14.....pwm was interviewed one time and it looked like the job was a sure shot. The very next day evening, pwm was telephoned by the interviewer lady and asked to come to her residence. Thinking this was normal practice for this company, pwm went. However, furthering the interview was far from her mind as she proceeded to dim the lights, play the soft music and slipped into something more comfortable. Acting the part of Yogi Bera when he found himself in uncomprimising situations....pwm looked at the woman ( not deserving to be called lady ) and said loudly " include me out. " Of course pwm didn't get the job and the fellow who did began to faint quite often once on the job from lack of sleep and not enough ' bounce '...
I was working for the hotel in the time of changing Star rate and Brand to Smaller and also in the time of management changed.
The new GM was working before with a Front Office manager and having a conflict.
When GM understood that I am the right hand of my Boss - Front Office manager, he was tried to make for me problem using my gender and nationality. For sure my manager was protect me as he could. I was in very inconvenient situation. Sometimes I felt I am using, it wasnt professional from side of them both.
