I think we have to prepare ourselves first to understand and learn the topic that we'll help us get into job. Know how the systems works, the basic things we should understand first. There's nothing wrong in asking what we need to know as a beginner for us to be able to perform our task efficiently. We should explore more, research, configure and try to resolve the problem within our limit. Practice is the best learning and with this we'll be actually doing, breaking and eventually learn how to fixed it.
