Time is precious  and this is known by everyone, but setting an example how to value time among staff members will let them think how to value time. and this will define the value of time among them.

If there is no passage of time, there is no movement in life and every thing attains a stand-still position. Dynamism is the back bone of life. Time should pass, but unless we keep pace with it we may turn static to life events. Of the three factors in Management, effectiveness, efficiency and efficacy, time concern is most vital in efficacy, that is effective out put with maximum efficiency in the least time-frame. Procrastination and inefficiency are the two barriers to efficacy in Management. World is physically bound to the phenomenon of life by three things namely, matter, speed (distance/time) and distance. The ultimate Management of the world is also time controlled. That which is past is gone for ever like the bird that is flown away. The dictum goes like, Planning is not doing, practising is not doing, rehearsal is not doing, training is not doing, going to do is also not doing, but only doing is doing. Those who failed in effectively managing their time has had their goals and achievements very badly decided by destiny.

I think this is how the significance of time has to be sensitized for a motivation in performance and out put.

Importance of time is known to all. So there is no need of raising awareness. So far enforcement is concerned, you can do it through2 ways:

1) Enforce it on yourself. Come to your workplace well in time, don't waste working hours, perform your duty with honesty,  and try to finish the assigned job within set time, don'nt put of till tomorrow, don't leave before set time, and thus set an example for your co-workers, collegues, and subordinates etc.

 2) If you are employer, enforce it through well knowns ways...................(reward & reversion).

In this advanced Modern fast life, everyone is fully aware about the importance of time. Time management includes your personal life and business life. One of the greatest assets a business can have is an employee who uses his or her time to its fullest potential. It's Difficult to manage personal & work time.

Let me explain how to manage them effectively by using  "ABC Analysis" :

“A” is knowing what you’ve got which means knowing what your current work and personal responsibilities are. “B” is knowing what you want which means having specific daily and long-term goals. “C” is using “A” and “B” so you get what you want which means that you apply the questions of who, what, where, when, why, and how to your thoughts and actions. Another way to manage you personal and work time is to set goals. If you don’t know what goals you need to accomplish then how can you accomplish them?
