ERP is an industry acronym for Enterprise Resource Planning. Broadly speaking, ERP refers to automation and integration of a company's core business to help them focus on effectiveness & simplified success.

Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP)

It is a business process management software which helps in planning the resources in an enterprise business.

It is difficult to list any two commonly used software in the market because every business has different requirements according to their business needs and market sectors.

Since, i am in an accounting profession. Hence, according to me Tally ERP and SAP softwares were more commonly used in accounting department.

In sample answer , An accounting prog. which you can control your company all over ( Sales / Marketing / Accounting / etc...) also the most common used is :- Oracle / SAP / GP . finally the choose of any of them according to the company needs and the cas can be paid according to the company cost as well.

Two of the widely used systems are SAP and Oracle Fainance.
