A camber is a trapeze handy tool made from playwood or hard wood with a bubble level installed at its horizontal top side, intended for checking at the roadworks site the pavement cross (crown) slope.

It is1,80m length,  0,20m height from one side and0,11m from the other when installed in perfectly horizontal position on the pavement the camber indicates that the crown is5% slope as its bottom side.

A slightly convex curvature built into a truss or beam to compensate for deflection under a load. Camber is also built into  roadways,structural components, or bridges to facilitate run off of water.

actually, camber is on of the technical specificatoin requirement.

in any structure, camber is slop starting from the mid of the beam till the end. and it depends on the span length.

nomally, camber is used for beams or slab  which has length span more than5 m to reduce deflection.
