That depends on your environemnt. Shielded twisted pair cables are to be used where you have mrong magnetic fields in the environemnts such as factories and power plants. The unshielded twisted pair cables are used in other enviroments like offices and homes. Coaxial cables are rarely used now adays.

why not All network connections cannot be wireless ?!

you may make it more band width or speed to have it the same as wired [its all about money ]

 

but if you have a network that use information that are so dangeruse to be seen or changed [ few company have dangerus things] you must use sheald STP [cat6] for safe and fast work (i think !)
