For sure Knowledge is very important but i also think that the greatest asset for any HR professional is the showcase of that knowledge through their accomplishments in improving/transforming/initiating results among these primary People-Focused HR areas:1) Attracting and retaining talent2) Creating a desirable workplace3) Spreading goodwill between the community and the employees
Being successful in all3 is very challenging so if an HR professional demonstrates that they have participated in such projects, the value of their experience becomes very appealing to a company operating in the international realm.

I believe these qualifications are very good start for HR professional to enter into an international business; yet there are extra requirements that will add to his competitive advantage; these things are: 1- Knowledge of the labor law in the operating countries. 2- culture knowledge and ability to deal with the culture gap and diversity. 3- ability to develop talent acquisition strategy that meet the targeted marketed.4-degree in business and administration
The first3 points require experience in this market and it can be developed fast if the HR professional has strong experience. Yet, the4th is essential requirement for higher strategic level employees.
