Whether Java is a Pure Object Oriented Programming language or Not ?

Purely Object Oriented Language .Everything is in object including Strings , Array

Java Is Not pure object oriented language due to following reasons.

  1. Java supports primitive data types.
  2. Java supoort static and these belong to class not to object.
  3. java supports enumerations.

And as per OOP, Everything should be an object
