The Mac always presides when it comes to being fast or like they call it these days "being chrome" & the OS does not recognize Viruses.
Hence being the best in the field on anything related to do with designing or digital work in the computers.
But the software's cost more than usual price of Windows System.
The Windows OS is always easy to use unlike the Mac and many other pros and cons are there too.
The motive is to get the job done.
It never depends on the System you are using.
But use what is comfortable always is another key.

For consistent prints & more accurate color viewing purposes and more synchronized graphic hardware with less virus, Mac gained its professionalism.
For social media and file flexibility, PC has become UNIVERSAL that marked the rise of gazillions of PC virus that hampers the computer performance.

Focus on getting a very good monitor and calibrator.
Mac or Pc, you will get the job done on both, it´s a matter of what you feel comfortable with.
