Though some routine HR functions like payroll ,gratuity, pension services can be outsourced, services like attrition control, promotion, transfer , retrenchment decisions cannot be outsourced as they are fundamental to the existence of the company

 To be precise repetitive unimportant services can be outsourced or even computerized but services that involve decision making cannot be outsourced. Wrong decisions could affect a company very adversely.
