A hardworking employer who has the capability to provide solution for the problem would be the best choice because he will show the way to his sub ordinates and be the role module to increase productivity.

Both are required for the success of an organization, however my preference is to have an employee who can exhibit both aspects since he will not only be a hard worker but also a smart thinking one who can take critical decisions related to his daily work and prioritization

We need both. In senior positions, it's usually the latter. And in junior positions, the former.

Greetings, Please allow me to share my opinion. For me an employer who provide problem solutions, you are the savior of the organizations. If there are problems in operations you can manage it effectively because you have the decision-making skills. This means also that the an employer has the knowledge and wit to handle his business. In an organization especially if it is centralized where in all the decisions come from the top,its very important that the employer must know how to handle every problems and provides solution to that.So he must be armed with knowledge.Must have leadership and management skills.
