Depending of the department you are managing, it should be at least weekly. Some sectors like sales requires2 meetings weekly.
It is required to know and analysis the market needs and make the required link in our schools, so first we must make a gap analysis between our market needs and our curriculums.
I see that policies and procdures can be the equivalent of curriculums in the business community. Most businesses in the region don't have forml, documented, & managed set of policies and procedures. Spreading the awareness of thier importance will help in spreading the adopton of them as necessary effective management tools. I see that HR departments can play a role in enforcing the imprtance of this isssue between staff.
A curriculum is followed within office environment as well by means of :
1. Scheduling / Rostering of employees (assigning tasks on a rotational basis)
2. Annual Training plan for employees
3. Mentoring and appraisal of employees (Performance evaluation)
I liked the analogy. It is really intelligent. In the Holy Quran, Almighty God says: "To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way", and this is the explanation for "minhaj" the arabic word for curriculum.
So, this is the rule, everything should work against a system.
