i agree mohammad,however,for those who don't have experience,or getting hired by a big co,can accept a salary less that what they expect.

Tips:

 

1. Google about the company and check if they have mention salary on job adverisment.

2. Be sharp if you know that the its multinational national company , they have standard salary structure. If they ask say ,  AS PER COMPANY SALARY STRUCTURE FOR THIS POSITION.

3.  Some companies offer salaries based on the candidate experience and qualififcation, In case candidate should benchmark the salary with the market to guess the possible of maximum he can ask.

4. If you taking10K and looking for13 K , not less than better to say13K Plus.

5. Some companies may offer you9K but they have other benefits. So be clever when you apply for job.

Its very simple you tell em that this is what you are getting and this is the amount that you want. But this all depends on what job you are applying for and what is your expericene and requirement in that particualr industry... all pros and corns needs to be verified first then answered. 

Not one single answer can work fit for all, it depends on from situation to situation and from person to person.

Every company have categories for their staff salaries and expectation question is common, which is mostly asking by recruiters.  So I think every person have a very big salary expectation from new company, when he / she is applying for new job. If a company is willing to hire your services and you tell them that my expectation is $100,000.00 in reply they will tell you that our range for this post is only $200 if you are agree then ok and from next month you can join our company.

you have to tell him that the salary is not important thing for you ,, i think the best answer for that like this : salary is not a deciding factor for me. I really like the job description and want to get this job

In my point of vewi the answer differ from person to another , also from career level to other , But we all MUST admit by one thing which is always before make interveiw in your new company , you MUST know your market price in the same company you applying for the job but take in your consdiration if you are residance or you will apply from another country , finally you MUST have know the status package for the Job you applied through search on Salary / compansion / allwance / market status / your status / your economic country status / etc...

It surely differs for fresh and experienced professionals. However, for experienced candidates it's always recommended to know the employer well, more importantly following while considering salary or negotiating your package:

 

1. The reputation of the company, one may opt for less then expectation if the employer has a brand recognition or is an MNC.

2. Salary structure of the organization. (If based on hierarchal level then you may ask for competitive to the position, else you may compare with market and peers in similar industry and your last package ofcourse).

3. Benefits including vehicle, allowances, facilities, reimbursements, medical, retirement benefits other in kind perks.

4. Incentive / bonus and the factors that determine it.

5. Increments and promotion factor.

6. Salary range of peers in same organization / department. (You are more likely to be offered a similar salary)

7. One should always state the fact that the salary is negotiable.

 

For experienced professionals, one should always consider other factors stated above while considering a job or negotiating a package for long term perspective.
