What is the difference between (goal) , (aim) , (purpose) and (target) ?

My overall purpose is to be the best cricket player possible.

My objective  is to gain some weight.

My current target is to run five miles today.

My final goal is to become a CEO

Goal is the point/place you wish to achieve...like the goal is to climb100 feet...then anything100 feet or over is your goal...you can surpass/exceed it. Target is the exact goal...100 feet is the target. Aim is the direction/action you take to get to the goal/target. Purpose is the reason you aim to achieve that target or goal.
