If most of the students in your class failed an assignment, test, or project, how would you respond?

l trace back and see where l went wrong in giving instructions.l will have an individual discussion(dependant on the size of class)l will use such an experience on how to deal with such issues in the future.

I would definitely change my teaching stratagy.  If most of my students are failing, then i must be doing something's wrong.

If I considered that the test was commensurate with the level of knowledge they should have achieved, I would in the first instance question the way that the test was formulated and make adjustments to it as necessary. One should never be too proud  to seek advice and help from colleagues, they might well have experienced similar themselves. It may be that for this particular class the subject matter is not being learnt, either by the way it is being taught or the content being too difficult for their level, although this should have been spotted as the course has been ongoing. A question and answer session at the end of each tutuorial will soon determine: "Has learning taken place"!
