my boss would say that i don't care a lot about paperwork, that i am very practical and i can manage a speach or a lesson or whatever in just a few minutes of preparation without papers... so i like working with new technology material or with my head and not with papers ..
you can say :
I sometimes feel nervous when speaking in front of large groups of people. I am actually practicing my public speaking skills so I can become better at addressing crowds. It did not come up often at my previous work, so I was still able to do my job
My Boss could not say anything because he closed down his own company so he gave many reasons of people saying negative about him :)
