sensors is a device that supplying signal to the PLC which describe the state of the process by converting the physical quantity such as pressure, temperature. flow , speed ..etc into analog or digital electrical signal to make it an input signal to the PLC.

There are a lot of types of sensors: inductive, capacitive, temperature, optical, etc.

first up, Sensor  is device that convert the physical signals such as pressure, temperature. flow, speed etc, to electrical signal. sensor send incoming signals either digital or analog to PLC. and PLC use this signal to open or close valve. There are a lot of types of sensors: inductive, capacitive, temperature, optical, etc.
