IS BAYT.COM TRYING TO PULL TRAFFIC - OR - is just "Show how you’re different; stand out from the crowd; and get recognized and rewarded!!" as it says?

""Asking a question will cost you 10 of your 100 credits. To earn more credits, receive votes on your questions and answers, and invite friends to answer your questions"". IS THIS A NEW TYPE OF GAMES ????

Bayt.com is trying to better serve its community of both employers and professionals! Think about it: For both employers and job seekers a CV is not always the best way to either base a hiring decision on or to promote oneself by.
Tens of thousands of professionals may claim similar expertise but how do the true specialists distinguish themselves? Specialties are the answer.
Specialties allow professionals to Shine! and in doing so empower them to more easily find jobs and get hired.
Using Specialties professionals highlight what they are best at and enter a community of people who are also specialists in the same field.
The conversations within this community help add a dimension of true expertise to a CV.
This added dimension can be used by employers to learn more about professionals and to make better hires.

Great Question Mostafa especially that I myself, a bayt employee (in other products than Specialties), asked the same question (let's say the 2, the main, and the one in the description).
In short: Learn, New Connections, A Prove Specialties was beneficial for me in three main points, the first is that it enlightened me with new techniques in my work/specialty from other folks in the same industry - some can be more experienced than me.
The second is that it helped me to create new connections/relations which is one of the most important factors in business in general.
Third, in regard to: credits, I liked it very much (and it's not a new thing at all in such a product).
I am trying to answer more helpful answers so people rate my answers up, and though get more exposure and ranks, when a potential employer/relation view my CV he will know which are my strongest specialties according to people opinions not according to what I am claiming in my CV,

Bayt is not trying2 get traffic. It is just highlighting us by enlighting our knowledge. If any one answers nicely to a typical r a normal question, their answer will get voted up. this makes their cv more weight. such that they can get more focused by employers.

A good question. Being farily new to "specialities" I have limited experience of these "forums" but having now discovered them I am thoroughly enjoying engaging with people from other countries and cultures. To me it's an education tapping into the vast amount of expertise which constitutes the Bayt family. There is also something very satisfying about posing a humble question and then discovering that others are interested in what you say!

If it is "pulling traffic" as you suggest, it's a "win win" situation as apart from serving their own needs they are providing a service for the rest of us mere mortals!!

I also live in hope that my own "skills" are recognised.
